“Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts” – Winston Churchill.
Commit to Churchill’s courage to superpower your career and business from now on. After seeing “The Darkest Hours” on the weekend I knew I had to keep super-powering my creative coaching through 2018 and beyond.
What about you? Do you have a part of your business that needs a touch of superpower energy to have you leaping buildings and flying ahead of your competitors to bask in the glory of achieving what others thought you may not?
This was the message I received from this powerful movie. Stuff your critics and detractors, create a small group of supporters around you and resolve to lift your energy. Go within and bring forward the superpower that you are. We all have that part within, but if you are like me at times it can go out the window faster than a “speeding bullet” when tough stuff happens personally or professionally.
Churchill had a wife who I believe was his ” rock and reason to be”. He was a psychologically complex man who seemed unfit to run a county at war. He made complex decisions whilst surrounded by detractors. Yet when he brought home over 300,000 troops stranded at Dunkirk this escape captured the minds and hearts of the British people. He was voted the greatest Briton in history.
“If you have an important point to make, don’t try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time with a tremendous whack” – Winston Churchill
